On 10th November we had a singing workshop at Denver Village Hall with Helen Chadwick. Singer, songwriter, performance creator and recording artist Helen Chadwick joined members of Singers Inspired and other guests for a singing workshop.

On 15th June, the choir performed a variety of songs to the residents of High Haven Care Home.

Singers Inspired were once again warmly welcomed by the Ashville House residents for a lovely afternoon of singing and chat.

Well done to our choir members and supporters in braving the chill for festive busking in Downham Market on Saturday 15th December. Over £110 was raised for the Alzheimer's Society. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!

Singer Inspired performed at a fund-raising concert for East Anglian Children's Hospices (EACH) on Saturday 20th October 2018, at Mildenhall Jubilee Centre. It was a joint concert with Anglian Accents, a ladies harmony chorus, and over £400 was raised for EACH.

Singers Inspired hosted a free taster session on Thursday 13th September at Downham Methodist Church, Paradise Road. We welcomed lots of new faces.

Singers Inspired hosted an entertaining day of harmonious singing led by highly-esteemed songwriter and workshop leader, Ali Burns, at Denver Village Hall on Sunday 21st January 2018. We learnt new songs of different styles and enjoyed a large shared lunch.

Singers Inspired, Anglian Accents Chorus & Rainbow Community Choir presented a joint concert, singing a selection of songs in differing styles and some festive numbers too, at the Downham Market Methodist Church on Saturday 16th December 2017. Each choir sang their own sets and the concert concluded with several numbers performed by all three choirs together. Profits were donated to 'Big C' Cancer Charity.

On Saturday 16th September 2017 we visited Christ's College Chapel, Cambridge, as part of our wish to seek & arrange inspirational venues in which to sing for pleasure. We rehearsed and sang, enjoying the wonderful acoustics.

We welcomed lots of new faces at our free taster session on Thursday 14th September 2017, and had fun all learning new songs together. We have been glad to see many again at our regular sessions.

We had our Christmas Concert on Saturday 17th December 2016 at the Methodist Church in aid of the charity 'Big C'. We raised over £550 for Big C and presented a cheque for this to the CEO of Big C - Dr Chris Bushby.

A large number of Singers Inspired members and other singers enjoyed a day at Denver Village Hall, learning new harmony songs with choir leader Stephanie Anderson, including African, Gospel and Shapenote music, October 2016

As part of the choir’s intention to find inspiring places in which to sing, we obtained permission to hold one of our regular rehearsals at the beautiful St Nicolas’s Chapel in King’s Lynn, September 2016.

Singers Inspired was one of numerous Community Choirs from around the county to come together for the 2nd NCCF, held in the Grean Britian Centre, Swaffham, with hundreds of singers performing to each other, joining to sing together, and attending a variety of singing workshops, February 2016.
